What moves the price of this card

The Amuro Ray (C+) (SP) on this page is the Holofoil printing from Freedom Ascension, and it trades at $147.86 in near mint condition. The same name is on 6 other printings: Freedom Ascension GD05-085 at $43.90, Starter Deck 01: Heroic Beginnings ST01-010 at $34.91, Edition Beta ST01-010 at $4.07, Freedom Ascension GD05-085 at $1.23, Starter Deck 01: Heroic Beginnings ST01-010 at $1.18, Deck Build Box Freedom Ascension ST01-010 at $0.59, so read the set, the number and the rarity together before comparing prices.

Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
