What moves the price of this card

The Heero Yuy (C+) (SP) on this page is the Holofoil printing from Freedom Ascension, and it trades at $118.50 in near mint condition. The same name is on 7 other printings: Starter Deck 02: Wings of Advance ST02-010 at $19.41, Gundam Promotional Cards ST02-010 at $15.41, Freedom Ascension GD05-098 at $13.73, Edition Beta ST02-010 at $2.58, Starter Deck 02: Wings of Advance ST02-010 at $0.50, Freedom Ascension GD05-098 at $0.36, Deck Build Box Freedom Ascension ST02-010 at $0.13, so read the set, the number and the rarity together before comparing prices.

Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
