What moves the price of this card

The Resource (R-035) (C+) on this page is the Holofoil printing from Phantom Aria, and it trades at $1.95 in near mint condition. The same name is on 8 other printings: Newtype Rising R-002 at $97.68, Promotional Resource Tokens RP-003 at $97.55, Promotional Resource Tokens RP-021 at $95.78, Promotional Resource Tokens RP-055 at $90.64, Promotional Resource Tokens RP-004 at $86.69, Edition Beta R-001 at $73.10, Promotional Resource Tokens RP-049 at $70.04, Promotional Resource Tokens RP-006 at $69.46, so read the set, the number and the rarity together before comparing prices.

Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
